Postdoctoral Association

The Boston College Postdoctoral Association (ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºPDA) promotes the professional, social, and family well-being of postdoctoral fellows from all ÐßÐßÓ°Ôº departments. The purpose of the ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºPDA is:

To promote the professional training and career preparation of its members

To promote peer interactions and support among the ÐßÐßÓ°Ôº postdoctoral community

To serve as liaison between its members and the administration of ÐßÐßÓ°Ôº

To introduce new postdoctoral fellows to the ÐßÐßÓ°Ôº community

To provide liaison between ÐßÐßÓ°Ôº postdoctoral fellows and other postdoctoral associations in Massachusetts and in the United States

The ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºPDA regularly organizes conferences and talks on topics of interest to its membership. In addition, the ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºPDA has an ongoing Knowledge Dissemination Program to financially support the dissemination of its members’ original and independent scholarly work.
